Sasha Jacques
Female Actor & Singer

The word actor refers to a person who acts
regardless of gender, while actress refers specifically
to a female who acts, therefore a female can be both.
Gender neutral usage of actor has re-emerged in modern
English.'

As a
trained actress and singer, I have performed in
many plays, musical and dance performances as well
as in films and TV. I am a
soprano singer, with a wide range, and have sung as a
soloist and with other singers and musicians, on stage
and at both small and large venues in the UK, Belgium
and Spain.
I
have
studied and trained in Music and Drama, most recently MA Music
Theatre at the Central School of Speech & Drama, University of
London, and previously at
Exeter University, where I was awarded two music scholarships
and BA Honours in Drama.
I am out-going, confident and a strong
person, but can also be sensitive and vulnerable. I get
on with many different kinds of people and find myself
adapting to them and taking on personas, with a
chameleon quality. I am a good communicator and very
sociable. I prefer to be around people than alone,
enjoying the company of others.
I am very aware of things going on around
me and enjoy observing and reflecting upon individuals
and society. As a visual person, I have always been
artistic and creative and try to enjoy life with
freedom. I am a risk taker and enjoy exploring
boundaries of society and the arts. I think critically
and logically and can be a perfectionist and constant
worker, as well as being very organised.
I
am very energetic and determined, but also make time to
relax and have fun with friends.
